Since its creation in 2009, the Portland Marathon HALF has been a very popular addition to the weekend of Events and has quickly jumped to the top of the list when it comes to the best half marathons in the Nation. The Portland Marathon HALF (13.1 miles) is limited to just 2,500 public entries. The Portland Marathon HALF course is packed with music groups, cheering teams, porta potties, aid stations, and photographers!
How to get into the Portland Marathon HALF:
At this point to get into the Half Marathon, you must enter with a charity entry since all the general registration entries are sold out. A charity entry does not have any difference from a non-charity entry as far as what you get, the only difference is that you’ll feel good about it! There are two options for a charity entry:
Option 1: A complimentary entry can be obtained free from one of our 2013 Official Charities by fundraising on their behalf. To do this, click here.
Option 2: Purchase a charity entry for $250, and no fundraising is required on your part. Also, half of the $250 goes directly to the Going the Distance Foundation and is tax deductible. Note the original price for the Portland Marathon Half entry was $125. To do this, just go to the link below and click register! Click here.
