A Portland Marathon Partner Event is a running or walking event promoted as an interesting, challenging, fun, and well administered event that can potentially be participated in as part of training for The Portland Marathon in October.
Eugene Marathon and Half Marathon

In total, participants run through or along 12 parks before they reach the new finish line, through the arches of Powell Plaza and the final stretch on the track at Historical Hayward Field. No doubt, this is one of the prettiest and flattest certified marathons in the country!

Santa Rosa Marathon & Half Marathon

The marathon is a newly designed out and back course that starts in Juilliard Park in downtown Santa Rosa. The first 2 miles run through scenic Downtown Santa Rosa. It is a flat, fast Boston Qualified course that then continues along the scenic Prince Memorial Greenway. Mile 8 – 19 then goes through beautiful West Sonoma County and runs through De Loach Vineyards and even their barrell room!

Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon

This Labor Day weekend event is held in the heart of the Willamette Valley, recognized by many as the premiere Pinot Noir region of the country. The views from the starting area at Stoller Vineyards are mind-boggling, as the moon sets on one side of the valley and the sun rises next to Mt. Hood on the other. The Wine & Music Festival in downtown Carlton features 20 of the area’s best wineries (and one local brewery) with lots of great food options. Learn more
Kelowna Wine Country Half Marathon
The Kelowna Wine Country Half Marathon is the newest event in the popular series produced by Destination Races. It’s also the first in the series held outside of the United States. Healdsburg Wine Country Half Marathon

This Halloween and wine harvest-themed race starts in downtown Geyserville and twists through the beautiful Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys. Runners in costume compete for prizes at the awards ceremony and post-race wine tours and a finishers party cap off the event. Temecula Wine Country Half Marathon
This new 13.1 mile course starts and finishes at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, a luxurious full-service property that will host our post-race Wine & Music Festival. The course runs past orchards, horse farms, vineyards and no less than eighteen wineries, ranging from small producers to large production and resort properties. The event expo is held in the City Center, adjacent to historic Old Town, where many of Temecula’s favorite shops and restaurants reside. Learn More

The Dubrovnik International Half Marathon & 2k Run the Wall, both inaugural events, and first of their kind in Dubrovnik, Croatia. As a medieval walled city, Dubrovnik is steeped in stunning architecture and sculptural detail, the has been the set of TV shows including the popular HBO series, “Game of Thrones.”
A fun Half Marathon course depicting the best of Dubrovnik, participants will experience spectacular views of the old town and harbor, and finish down the historic Stradun, the main street of Dubrovnik. This limestone-paved pedestrian street runs through the Old Town, the historic part of the city surrounded by the Walls of Dubrovnik. The day before the Half Marathon, adventurous participants can challenge the 2k Run the Wall, as they run across the top of the series of stone walls constructed during the 14th and 15th centuries, that have surrounded and protected the city throughout history.

Grandma’s Marathon is a point-to-point course run along the beautiful north shore of Lake Superior. The 26.2-mile stretch begins on scenic Old Highway 61, just outside Two Harbors, Minnesota and finishes in Duluth’s Canal Park. Enthusiastic volunteers, spectators and live entertainers line the streets to cheer runners on as they stride to the finish line.
Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon

Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon Duluth area native Garry Bjorklund is a 1976 Olympian and a 1977 and 1980 champion of Grandma’s Marathon. He has been instrumental in the development of running throughout Minnesota. In 1991, the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon was created to recognize his contributions to long distance running.
If you’re not up for running 26.2 miles, then the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon is the race for you – it’s half the distance, and just as fun! This popular half marathon is one of the largest races of its kind in the United States and is run on the second half of the beautiful Grandma’s Marathon course, finishing at the same finish line in Duluth’s Canal Park.
