Sports & Fitness Expo – Hilton Portland (6th & Salmon): Packet pickup

The packet includes chip, bib number, souvenir program and assorted promotional items. The Expo focuses on health and demonstrations, sports medicine and fitness programs, innovative fitness clothing, shoes and training aids and periodic free lectures by noted sports medicine specialists. The Expo is also the place to buy your Marathon souvenirs, and the sign-up for the Clydesdale/Bonnydale division ($5 cash fee).

The Portland Marathon Kid’s Fun Run & Sports Festival will take place Saturday. Participation is open for kids’ ages 2-12, and parents are invited to run along with!

Sunday, October 4, 2015 RACE DAY!

Portland Marathon & Portland Marathon Half!
NO DAY OF RACE PACKET PICKUP OR ENTRY FOR ALL EVENTS

6:00 a.m.

Runners use the map on the back of your bib to find your starting corral. Please arrive early so you have time to use the facilities.

6:30 a.m.

Shuttle buses for the 10k Family walk begin running and pick up at SW Salmon between SW Broadway and SW Park (beside the Heathman Hotel and the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall).

6:59 a.m.

Wheelchair race begins

7:00 a.m.

Marathon Run/Walk and 1/2 Marathon Run/Walk begins as a multiple wave start.

7:30 a.m.

The last walkers should be crossing the starting line!

Post Race:

Half and Full Marathoners will pick up their long-sleeved finisher shirts as they go through the finish chute process. Show your running number to receive your official marathon finisher’s shirt (no exchanges) and other goodies. In the finish area Marathon walkers and runners will be presented with a special Northwest tree seedling, a rose, and other special finisher’s items. They may also have their photo taken before exiting the enclosed finish area.
