Wheelchairs

Wheelchair Competition

A special wheelchair competition takes place for wheelchair athletes in both the Marathon and the Five Mile events.

The course rim chair record is held by Kelly Smith in the time of 1:48:24. Candace Cabel holds the women's record in 2:14:36. Craig Blanchette holds the Five-Miler record time of 21:25. There is a separate division for hand cycles. However, due to City of Portland procedures, safety concerns, and/or course closure reasons, hand cycles faster than 1:40 may be stopped at certain points on the course.
