Presented by the Portland Marathon Event Director’s College. Hosted by Les Wright and the Maui Oceanfront Marathon.
As you know, we now hold the Event Directors’ College on both the East and West coasts. This special edition of the College will be more of a think-tank approach to what we normally do over a 3-day extended period, and will be held in the relaxed and inviting atmosphere of the lovely island of Maui.
With the Maui Oceanfront Marathon as our host, our meeting and head- quarters area will be the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa on the tranquil southwestern side of the Maui coast, which will also be the start line area of the Sunday Marathon.
We’ll cover some great topics (see sample topics here), and leave plenty of time for leisure activities. Join us and exchange ideas, network with industry leaders, socialize, relax and enjoy this special event in a tropical paradise!

Thursday Jan 16th
Attend an invitation only evening cocktail reception at the oceanfront home of Event Director Les Wright.
Friday Jan 17th
Free Day – Explore the many activities on the island of Maui!
Saturday Jan 18th
Morning Session: 9 am – 12 noon
Lunch: 12 noon – 2 pm (sponsored activity to be announced)
Afternoon session: 2 pm – 5 pm
Evening Cocktail Hour: 6 – 7 pm (sponsored activity to be announced)
Dinner: 7:30 pm – 10 pm (sponsored activity to be announced or on your own)
